125cc in Le Mans The third part of the 2010 125cc World Championship occurs at Le Mans this weekend and the bid for the eighth litre title
is hotting up, with Nico Terol leading the race for the crown after two rounds. The Bancaja Aspar racer ended last season's
at the circuit in ninth position, but was on the stage the year prior.
Pol Espargaró (Tuenti Racing) is
seven points behind Terol in the rankings and will lead the charge of other rivals to attempt to break the Championship leader’s
early form. Following a victory at Jerez, where he won over Terol, Espargaró will look to progress higher
than his recent best of fourth spot at Le Mans.
Esteve Rabat (Blusens STX) is excited about the beginning
of his season and being closely pursued by Bancaja Aspar racer Bradley Smith, both inside the top four. The Brit
claimed his first World Championship podium at Le Mans three years ago and ran fourth at the track last year, he
will be looking to improve and make up the deficit.
Efrén Vázquez (Tuenti Racing) will be
returning after the disappointment of a fall at Jerez, while Marc Márquez (Red Bull Ajo Motorsport) was also
unable to finish at his home GP last time after a faulty exhaust. The young Spaniard has claimed both pole positions
so far this year, and will race through the agony of a recovering injury.
